Dr. Trahan is an Opelousas Catholic alumnus. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from ULL. Dr. Trahan went on to attend medical school at LSU School of Medicine-New Orleans, which is where he also completed his Internship and Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery Residency. As a proud Opelousas native, Dr. Trahan chose to return to his hometown to open an ENT practice to care for his community.
He is board-certified by the by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has over 10 years of ENT experience. Dr. Trahan combines the latest surgical and minimally invasive techniques with the latest medicinal treatment.
With the addition of Dr. Trahan, APCH is bringing comprehensive ENT, Allergy, and Audiology services for both pediatric and adult patients. His range of services include Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), rhinoplasty, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, balloon sinuplasty, and allergy diagnosis and treatment.
